Sara Rosas Boone Appointed Interim Justice of the Peace
For Immediate Release
Fort Bend County, TX- Sara Rosas Boone has been appointed temporarily as Justice of the Peace, Precinct One Place Two through February 28, 2010, at the request of Judge Gary Geick, and was sworn in at 9 AM this morning by County Judge Robert E. Hebert.
Judge Gary Geick notified County Judge Bob Hebert by letter yesterday of his request to appoint Boone on a temporary basis. Boone has been employed with Judge Geick's Office for 15 years and has served as his Court Coordinator for the last 8 years. Judge Geick has every confidence that Boone will fulfill the obligation and duties of the office in his absence as he continues on his recovery path. County Judge Hebert stated, "I'm confident that Sara will do an excellent job in the interim and I join everyone in the county wishing Judge Geick a full and speedy recovery."
