Notice of Temporary Road Closure and Detour for Williams Way Boulevard (Ransom Road)

Richmond, TX- Fort Bend County announces the temporary road closure of a portion of Williams Way Boulevard(Ransom Road) in Richmond, TX for improvements being made to facilitate construction of the new Justice Center, including its tunnel connection to the Jail.

The closure will begin on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 9:00 AM and will remain closed until February 15, 2010. In order to minimize the length of construction, work will occur continuously during the road closure in an effort to re-open ahead of schedule. Eugene Heimann Circle will be used as the detour route during construction.  Early warning and detour signs are being posted to advise motorists.
